  That is what the MMO is used for.  Don't need the MMO for the autogas but it sure helped me on the 100LL.  That is how I read Lasher's book.  Okay guys I figure that you are all snowed in so I'm safely out of range and don't need to duck and cover.

You do not have to placard your pumps if you are not increasing the octane for an additional cost. The regular non lead gas, 87 oct., has been blended with 10% ethanol, but you do not have to notify the customer at the pumps.  Only if you use it to increase octane to charge more for it.

      Right now, they are charging more for ethanol in MO, so the distributors are not blending ethanol with regular non-lead 87 octane. However this is unusual and will not last for more than two or three days. Soon they will have no choice.  

      Tony was correct.  Very soon it will be mandated ALL gasolines will have some type of  blend, so you might as well get used to using aviation fuel. They are building those big "Stills" (alcohol plants) all over the US. Mid grade gas is half non lead and half 91 premium.  Beware, ethanol will still be added if the product makes the complete load a litle cheaper.

      Now you know why I have spent all those years flying and let my family run the business. <G Larry

          How common is the use of auto gas in a 7AC?
          Any pitfalls one needs to be aware or if using auto gas?
          I know not to use ethanol, but have heard some concerns about lesser
          amounts of alcohol being added to gas without having to be labeled.
          Would there b potential problems with that?
