(Poly-Fiber style Uncertified Light 1.7 oz. fabric works great for dollies. Medium is OK, too, but doesn't mold as tightly) This is copied from the Poly- Fiber Manual. Ok for gussets also.

Subject: [f-AA] light weight Poly gussets/rudder cables
I just wrote to Poly-Fiber about this, but thought some of you might know: I'm getting ready to make some gussets and inspection hole doily's. I got some light weight Poly-fiber fabric and noticed it is not stamped. I looked at the Aircraft Spruce catalog, and they advertise the same fabric as "uncertified", to only be used on experimental aircraft or for covering wood surfaces. Is it okay to use this material for gussets?
Also, I need to cut out some holes for the rudder cables to exit. I'm thinking of doing this before I apply any tapes of gussets. Any words of wisdom on this? Thanks!.....Louis
