Howdie Tom,
Who said anything 'bout Spanish? That was swamp talk! Actually, it toook forever to find that post on the NAA site and I was just wanting to help the fellow out if possible.
See ya,
Nancie, down in the swamps (but not forever)

Sorry fellows it took me so long to find the post; it was filed under 'Bill Pancake Hard at work'.
Tried hard to use the search utility and searched under 'Nancie' and a few other terms like Champion logos and turned up naugtha.
For Drp,
I'll keep my eyes out for a set for you. At this date I don't want to get rid of the set Jon had, but I will search around. Email me at arecit at aol.com if you'd like or at this list.

DRP:
My Champ is a '58 FC/EC. When I restored her, I didn't put the chrome emblems back on the cowl. Sorry; I no longer have them, as I traded them away.
I had a friend replicate the script and a vinyl sign maker made up a set of "Champion" signs that we put below the rear windows. I prefer that to the chrome. I did re-install the one on the panel, though.
If you try the f-AA (Fearless Aeronca Aviators) email list, Nancy over there has them. Her 'handle' on the list is "arecit" I think. Maybe she's interested in selling (more likely trading) them.
She also hangs out at www.supercub.org so you can try there. Maybe she's here, too. Nancy? Hello? Anyone home?
Good luck!
Jon B.

Will send a note to Nancy via the fAA list.
I have a set that I bought on Ebay but do not want to get rid of them.
