Hi Ian, from Nancie down in the greater south Florida swamps:

Could you somehow get her to share a few photos of her late husband too, that would make the other photos even more memorable.  I have found that photos of my late WW II buddy's J5  (Bill who few of you met at Middletown 1998) although great, are even more important to me when he is in the middle of one.  That puts more of a story to the photos.  If this kind lady could share a few tales, tall tales even ---that'd be great, even greater.

We have a lovely lady who is one of the mainstays of our clubs Womans 
Auxiliary. Her late husband husband retired after a distinguished flying 
career, finishing up with Qantas. Today at our (washed out, it finally 
rained here) club open day, she showed me some B & W photos of the 
Aeronca her husband flew in 1936. Not sure if it is a C-2 or C-3. Any 
way my son Don has them to scan and I'll get him to post to the list for 
identification.
