[f-AA] Zodiac comes apart in air

Sad indeed. After the piece of junk "Factory Sport Plane" I had the chance to look over in depth, I wouldn't set foot in one of those. Might make a nice static display, to dangle from the roof of my hangar. (Only if nothing fell off of it, and landed on my Champ!) Not to make light of the accident, I just can't think of another way to express my disgust with the $85,000 recycled beer can I looked at. I hate to see people get "Taken" for money. Worse yet, their lives. Kyle

Hate to hear of ANOTHER crash...this month OCT has been terrible.

It could be worse, Robert. Our leaves fell long ago, now the sky is emitting white stuff.

According to the Sacramento Bee, in today's edition a Zodiac XL which was heard running rough and sputtering, followed by a loud bang, came apart in the air just South of Yuba City, California, the debris fell into a prune orchard, along with the bodies of the pilot and his wife. www.sacbee.com has the whole story and a picture. Rober, in Grass Valley, where Fall is causing the leaves to fall.
