Mike -

I don't have that knowledge level - I only flew one of them, as I said, when
I taught the guy who bought it.

As I remember, it was an OK airplane - flew like a Champ. We had a grass
r/w then, so I can't comment about it's x-w issues on a paved runway.

That must have been on the "wide gear" 1960+ versions Jerry. We had 3 of
them here at YHM - a 60 and 2 61's. Couldn't keep the long factory spinners
on them!

    Paul -

This only a SWAG. The difference in the rear limit for a 7FC may have
to do with the fact that they can easily settle on their tails, and be so
tail heavy that the nose gear won't come down to the ground.

I remember when I taught a guy to fly in one, about 35 years ago, that
the rear seat occupant had to get in last, and get out first, or the thing
would settle back on the tail skid if the rear seat were occupied without
someone in the front.

    Again, just a guess.

flying a converted 7FC to EC at 1500lbs gross
      TC-759 C.G. info lists
      EC with 19.2" rear max
      and FC 18.5" rear max

      why?
same airplane in the air, just different on earth

and which applies to the converted airplane
as it is stamped as an FC converted

any other accepted operating info/manual out there?

      Paul
