Subject: [f-AA] C-85 question
Hey there fearless ones,
Here is a head scratcher. On the C-85 I have for the 120, there is a pad on the top left of the case forward of the front cylinder. It is cast into the case, no holes or machining on it. Looks like a perfect spot to set your beer while you are working on the airplane (joking of course). Does anyone have a case like this, or know what this pad was for? The guys at DIVCO said that it was a certified item but they could not tell me what this would have been for and they have other cases with the pad.
Just wondering.
Scott
